This registration is for Free Agents (or groups of 3 or less) registering for their captain's team.

GAMES

11-13 games guaranteed (10-12 regular season + 1-4 playoff games). Varies by league.

GAME FORMAT

12-12-15 run time periods. Shootout if tied (3). All games with 2 x Certified Officials

TEAM SIZE

15 players per team (min). 14 players + 1 goalie. Teams can have more than 15 players. 

PLAYOFFS

Single elimination tournament. 1 game guaranteed.

Elite Division: NCAA | U Sports | Club | Semi-Pro | Jr. (A)
A Division: Jr (B/C) | AAA
B Division: AA | A
C Division: Select | House League
D Division: Beginners | New to Hockey
W1 Division: Women only. Competitive
W2 Division: Women only. Recreational
*Women can play in any division*

We recommend that at least 60% of your team fall into the same skill level in order to maintain the competitiveness of each division. Not all cities will house all of these skill divisions and in some cases, divisions will be bulked together for smaller leagues. We do our best however if not enough teams register in each division to make appropriate skill level match-ups. Skill level realignment surveys are also sent out each season to allow teams to move up and down divisions per their preferences.

LIVE JERSEY DRAFT

Register your team to lock in your team's position in the Live Jersey Draft. Draft order is determined by the speed at which teams sign up. Some conditions apply. 

WAG CUP CHAMPIONSHIP

Win your division to qualify for the WAG Cup Regional Championship Tournament. Play against Division Champions from 50+ LUG leagues for a chance to become a LUG legend.

DEFAULTS & GOALIES

Signing up is a commitment. Any team that misses 2 games or more without prior notice and a valid reason may be removed from the league. Please be courteous and inform us of any cancellations at least 24 hours in advance so we can find a replacement team and/or inform staff & refs to not attend those hours. 

It is your responsibility to have a goalie at your game. We as LUG will try to help where possible.

PAYMENT TYPE

This payment covers your Player registration Fee. 

CODE OF CONDUCT

LUG has a zero tolerance policy for violations of our code of conduct. Players and/or teams may be removed from the league for actions detrimental to the league including abusive, racist, sexist, or hateful language, damaging the facility, theft, use of alcohol or drugs, among others. 

REFUND POLICY

All registrations are final once completed.
